We knew it would happen sooner or later. The need to have something of our own has always been part of this plan but I didn’t know where that would be. If I had my way, I would have several little patches spread about the coast . . . maybe one day . . . but for now we officially have one and here is our new view.
The lot is rather steep and right now it is covered in alder trees. They are everywhere! A previous owner had started to prep the site for building and dug a very large whole in the middle that we are affectionately referring to as the pit of death but the potential is there and I can’t wait to clear a few trees and capture those gorgeous sunsets. Oh, and this little neighbour greets me every time I go over there.
Congratulations Dar & Jenn! You have a beautiful slice of paradise there. Can’t wait to see what type of structure you will build there.
OK, so now to the realization of your dreams …… We are looking forward to the travelling? structure that will call the lot home. Sounds like Darren is doing great with his new career as well. xo AT
